Aryna Sabalenka

Her birthplace is Minsk located in Belarus. Sergey, her father (who died in 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka is a Belarusian born on 5th May 1998. In her career she has been awarded 12 WTA singles titles. One of them was a Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is another sport where she excels. The US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both played by Elise Mertens. Also, she achieved the Sunshine Double in 2019, taking the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open along with Elise and Mertens. This feat was only achieved by four couples in the women's doubles. Her ranking went from second to third place in the world singles rankings on the 23rd of August in 2021. The highest ranking she achieved was again achieved in January of 2023. She climbed up to the top of the rankings for doubles the next year after triumphing at Melbourne. She became the second Belarusian tennis player to be successful in tennis. Dmitry Tursunov coached her between 2018 and the end of 2019 and also a portion of the early 2020. Dieter Kindlmann and her were briefly together from August to September 2020. Antonio Dubrov has been her coach since the year 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are among her greatest idols.
